Kathryn Williams - Event Sales Manager
After finishing her chef's diploma at Westminster Catering College, Kathryn went off to Birmingham to study for her BA in Hospitality Business Management where she went to Epcot Disneyworld Florida for her one year work placement. Once finished, she then moved to Aspen Colorado where she completed a trainee food & beverage management programme at The Little Nell Hotel, a five star, Relais & Chateaux property.
When she came back to the UK and was deciding what to do next in her career, she accidently fell into the events industry, taking on a two week admin role at ExCEL exhibition centre for the catering team. After being promoted to the Events Coordinator, she then worked at ExCEL for two years. She moved to the catering team at Earls Court & Olympia working on big events such as the Olympia Horse Show and the Brits.
After taking a career break to run a pub in 2007/8 she returned back to the industry she loves, to work at Kings Place Events where she has been for over three years. She has now been in the events industry for over 7 years and still loving it and learning and enjoying every challenge that comes to her.
