Daz Roach - Butcher
Daz started butchering at an early age with his father in traditional butchers shops in London and the south east. Daz progressed quickly, learning skills and techniques in order to get the very best from the best quality produce available, and worked in traditional butcher's shops across the south of England.
Due to the rise of the supermarket chains and the struggle that traditional independent butchers faced, Daz developed his skills and became a chef and has worked for excellent chefs and restaurants, including Garry Hollihead, Dick Sawyer and David Cavalier.
Daz joined us in early 2010 to help us get the most from our Beef and Lamb from our Corneyside Farm. As Green and Fortune's full time butcher, he helps to produce and develop the constantly changing and evolving food offer and is an integral part of our business bringing the food from farm to fork.
