04.10 The Beef Dinner. Farmer, Butcher, Chef Dinner
Ahoy to all foodies, Our celebrated "Beef Dinner" return this
year with the presence of Rotunda's most acclaimed trio: Ian Scott, Farmer,
Daryl xxx, Butcher, Ian Green,Chef.
In a true "Fork to Farm" experience, join us to taste some of
the best beef you've ever tasted. All our beef comes from our very own farm in Northumberland where Ian
Scott traditionally hand rears cattle.
Canapés and drinks on
arrival while you listen to Ian Scott and watch Daryl's butchery demonstration.
The culmination of the evening will be a fantastic four course dinner centered
around our own wonderful beef.
Starter
Warm Northumbrian beef and native oyster pie, beef dripping pastry
served with cornichons and pickled red onion
Intermidiate
Home cured beetroot, vodka and dill Scottish salmon, horseradish créme
fraiche, watercress salad
Main Course
Trio of Beef
Roast fore-rib cooked medium, flank slowly braised in thyme infused
milk and slow cooked shin cottage pie, celeriac purée, roast shallot and wild
mushroom, red wine jus
Pudding
English russet apple tarte au fine, Calvados créme fraiche, pear and
cinnamon pudding, rosemary caramel
The evening will commence at
6.30pm. £45.00 per person.
